RigMaster is engineered with strict privacy-by-design principles. We maintain a Zero Unauthorized Project Telemetry architecture: your rigging calculations, lift plans, equipment serials, inspection records, and lifting site data are stored strictly on your local device and are never harvested, sold, or shared.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Perfect World Studio ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you install, access, and use the RigMaster mobile application ("App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to maintaining the absolute confidentiality of your professional engineering and industrial calculation data.
2. Zero Project Telemetry & Data Collection Policy
RigMaster does not collect or transmit your engineering or calculation data to external servers. Specifically:
- No Account Registration Required: All computational capabilities, equipment databases, and lift plan generators operate without requiring registration, email login, or user profiles.
- Zero Project Telemetry: All sling tension calculations, center of gravity (COG) calculations, equipment catalogs, crane load configurations, inspection defect logs, and digital approval signatures remain stored entirely on your local device via encrypted on-device storage.
- No Advertising or Tracking SDKs: RigMaster contains no third-party advertising SDKs, data brokers, or behavioral analytics trackers.
3. Device Permissions & Hardware Usage
To provide specialized industrial rigging tools, RigMaster may request access to specific device hardware features via standard operating system prompts. Each permission is used strictly locally:

4. Technical Crash Diagnostics & Stability Reporting
To identify software anomalies and maintain mission-critical stability, RigMaster integrates Firebase Crashlytics (operated by Google LLC).
- Sanitized Diagnostics: Crash reports transmit technical error stack traces, operating system versions, and pseudonymous device identifiers solely for debugging.
- PII Scrubbing: Automated redaction scrubbers actively strip authorization tokens, user passwords, project paths, and personal identifiers before transmission.
- Third-Party Policy: Diagnostic data handling complies with Google Privacy Policy.
- Development Deactivation: Diagnostics collection is deactivated in non-release builds and respects system-wide analytics opt-out settings.
5. Data Security & Cryptography
We implement industry-standard cryptographic mechanisms to protect local application assets:
- Encrypted Backups: Offline database backups (
.rmbak) are encrypted using AES-256-GCM with PBKDF2 key derivation (100,000 iterations). Backups cannot be decrypted without the user-defined passphrase. - Cryptographic Pre-Hashing: Lift Plan PDF certificates contain SHA-256 normalized manifest digests embedded in verification QR codes for tamper-evident verification.
6. Data Retention & User Control
Because your data is stored locally on your device, you maintain complete ownership and control:
- You can export, backup, or delete individual lift plans, equipment records, and templates at any time.
- Uninstalling the RigMaster application or clearing application data in your device settings permanently deletes all local records and stored files.
7. Children's Privacy
RigMaster is an industrial engineering application intended for qualified professionals and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in legal requirements or application features. Any updates will be reflected on this page with an updated "Effective Date".
